Please read these rules as well as the information before signing up. This round you must claim either a Disney show or movie and a character to focus on from what you choose.





Guidelines


• Sign ups will be open for the duration of this round.
• You must be a member of LiveJournal and a member of the community to participate.
• Please do not post your icons to this post. Please make your own post and submit it to the community.
• No claim can be chosen more than two times.
• You can change your claim at any time.
• Posting is moderated, once your post is submitted please await approval. If your post has not yet been approved within 48 hours please contact me or comment here. Movies can be animation or live action.




Show and Movie Guidelines


• Claims can only be claimed 3 times. This is for both movies and shows.
• For shows you can claim: The whole show, a season or a episode.
• For Movies you can claim: A franchise, one movie, one or a couple movies in a franchise.
• NEW - You can now claim a character, group, certain characters or couples in a show or movie. You can do one character or however many you want from your claim, or just the whole movie and all characters. If you're unsure just ask.

Descriptions -

Full body + wide crop - Your claim must be included from head to toe and should be very distant.
Frame me - You must include a somewhat of frame texture. It can be of wahtever type: a simple border, a solid frame or just a corner one.
In the box - You must include a squared box in your icon with your character in it.
Empty + Grey - Your icon must have a solid grey background.
Blinded by the light - Your icon must feature heavy and bright lighting.
Text Rotation - Your icon must have some text rotated up to 90º.
Character/Actor/Actress blend - One I made up. Use you're character you claimed and blend it somehow with you're characters actor/actress.
Glossy - If you pick this category your icons must feature glowing colors/lights.
Tropical - Give your icon a tropical look, you can do this however you can think of, by incorporating some flowers, palm trees, a beach scene, vibrant colors.
Half empty/Half full - Your icon should be (loosely) divided 50/50, one half empty, and one half full. Blocking is not allowed any other resources like negative space or textures are allowed.

For holiday, do you mean a character going on a holiday? Or the actual holiday coming up like Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas? Or just any holiday?

I meant like any holiday, coming up or not! I hadn't even thought about it as them going on a holiday but that works too I guess lol

Alright, I'll change the theme example real quick to that. So it would be Halloween. Unless were going by federal holidays?

Maybe any holiday the icon maker chooses, since there's going to be different holidays coming up or celebrated wherever they are?
